I recently had the pleasure of redesigning the RockyMountainTrail.com website. The main focus of the redesign was to create a site that was easy to navigate that converted sales well, and elicited a feeling of adventure and excitement within each viewer.
I created a site that could be easily skinned and themed on a page-by-page basis. Since the company carries many different brands and products, I created a site that can easily and quickly match each manufacturer's current branding or marketing campaign. This was achieved by creating dynamic backgrounds, banners, and site borders that change depending on the page.
I developed interactive flash applications such as a product zoom tool, a 360 degree tool, a video player, and a gear guide tool that boosted conversions and become a good source for consumers to gather more information about the products.
The initial site design was developed in validated HTML before it was converted in VB .NET.
